On August 29, 2018, CMCP will send each attorney registered for Corporate Connections a list of law firms or companies/public agencies then registered so you can let us know if there is any firm or company/public agency with which you cannot interview.  Responses will be due at close of business on September 7, 2018 – so mark your calendar.

CMCP’s discounted block rate is SOLD OUT. The Palace Hotel may still have rooms available for some of nights at current rates. Please call the hotel at (415) 512-1111 (specify group “CMCP Annual Conference October 2018”) to check availability and be sure to make alternate arrangements if you have not yet made your reservations.

Registration close dates are final. There will be no exceptions or extended registration dates.

Registration payment is by credit card only.  Please have your credit card information available when you register.

All attendees must register even if attending under a conference sponsor registration.  For sponsor registrations, click on “Event Sponsor” as the payment method.

CANCELLATION POLICY: 

All conference registration payments are final once processed. Paid registrations cancelled by August 30, 2018, will be fully refunded minus a $50.00 processing fee. No refund will be given for any paid registration cancelled on or after August 31, 2018. Cancellation of travel and hotel reservations is the exclusive responsibility of the registrant and is not subject to a refund from CMCP.

SUBSTITUTIONS:

With advance written notice to CMCP, an organization may substitute an attorney if the original registrant is unable to attend. Substitutions may be requested by sending an email to the CMCP registration team at conference@cmcp.org with the names, titles, email addresses and phone numbers of both the original and substitute registrants.

If an originally registered (law firm) attorney is signed up to participate in Corporate Connections, any assigned interviews are only transferrable if the substitute attorney’s practice area(s) is/are the same.

Substitution requests received after October 5, 2018 will incur a $50 processing fee.

SPONSOR REGISTRATIONS:

All attendees must register, even if attending via a conference sponsor registration.

For sponsor registrations, select “Event Sponsor” as the payment method. There is a limit to the number of registrations available per sponsoring organization, depending on sponsorship level.

The registration system will stop accepting online registrations from each sponsoring organization once the available number of benefit registrations have been received. If you are an attorney at a sponsoring organization, please check with the appropriate person at your organization to ensure whether you may be able to apply a sponsor benefit registration.

USE OF YOUR PHOTO / LIKENESS 

By registering for and attending the CMCP Annual Business Conference (CMCP2018), you grant the California Minority Counsel Program (CMCP) the right to take photographs or videos of you during the CMCP 29thAnnual Business Conference in San Francisco.

You also grant CMCP the right to use, copy, distribute, exhibit, broadcast, transmit, perform, publish, and display the photos/videos of you, with or without your name, in any media including in print and electronically.

CMCP may use the photos/videos for any lawful purpose, including but not limited to publicity, marketing and advertising. CMCP is under no obligation to compensate you, and you agree that CMCP is the exclusive copyright owner in the photographs/videos.

CMCP makes an effort to provide meals that accommodate attendees with a variety of dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan). We will make an effort to accommodate additional special requests, although we cannot guarantee the ability to fulfill every request. When you arrive at the lunch area, please make your request known to a server and they will review with you the available meal options.

ONSITE REPRINTS FOR LOST BADGES

If you lose your badge onsite, it can be reprinted for a processing fee of US $25. Go to the Solutions Desk in the first floor conference registration area and provide a valid photo ID and your business card.

LIMITED ACCESS SESSIONS AND EVENTS

Some sessions and events at the Annual Business Conference are limited based on capacity, type of registrant/registration, and organization. The conference agenda indicates such access limitations for these sessions. Please be aware of such access restrictions while on-site at the conference.
